Seawise provides practical marine consulting and operational support for owners, operators, engineering firms and project teams. We bring the end-user perspective into marine projects so concepts, designs, vessels and procedures work in real operating conditions.
Our support spans project definition, requirements, design and operability review, procurement, commissioning, trials, vessel readiness and in-service problem solving. We work alongside engineers, naval architects, contractors and crews to identify constraints early, improve decisions and deliver safer, more workable outcomes.
Capt. William Flower
William Flower is a Transport Canada Master Mariner with more than 15 years of experience in vessel operations, navigation, safety management and marine project delivery. He is currently serving at sea and commanding a 115-metre cable ship operating worldwide.
William brings a working mariner’s perspective to concept development, requirements, design review, constructability and operability, procurement, commissioning, trials and in-service problem solving. His role is to complement engineering and naval architecture with practical end-user insight: how a vessel, system or procedure will be crewed, operated, maintained and used in real conditions.
A graduate of Memorial University’s Marine Institute, he has led complex offshore and subsea cable operations and supported projects across remote, shallow-water and deep-water environments.

Capt. Bill Flower
Bill Flower brings more than two decades of experience in marine film production, diving and commercial fishing. His work combines practical seamanship, local knowledge and underwater experience to support documentary, film and on-water production in demanding marine environments.
A licensed 60-ton master and divemaster since 1978, Bill has worked as a diver on marine salvage and artificial reef projects, including RMS Republic, Ocean Ranger and HMCS Saguenay.
